If you love animals and think they make us a better person, then you are like me and you are in the right place. I help loving owners give their furry friends the best quality of life through personal nutrition plans tailored to their needs.
My name is Pam, and I am a fully qualified Veterinary Surgeon. I currently work as a general practitioner and emergency locum Vet Surgeon in the UK. I practice Functional Veterinary Medicine which means utilising modern practices combined with traditional therapies. This type of medicine treats the animal as a whole, considering the mind and the body in order to restore their health and natural balance.
My passion in life is to help people give their furry friends the absolute best life experience that they can have.
A background in emergency vet care in the UK has given me a unique perspective into some of the emergencies that pet owners can face. However, there is a world between emergency vet care and a great life experience.
I have seen the difference a change in nutrition can make to even the sickest of animals. In October 2021 my beautiful furry best friend Freddy went to sleep, and I will always miss him. I know that through my interventions he had a longer and happier life than without them.
My best friend Freddie
Freddie is a Jack Russel terrier that rescued me and made me grow physically, mentally and spiritually. Freddie has always been a sickly dog that would have never survived without a Vet owner. He suffered from pancreatitis, skin allergies and IBD. When we met he needed strong medication and a conventional prescription diet to control these diseases.
Suddenly, in Nov of 2018 Freddie developed severe kidney and heart disease. This meant that he couldn’t tolerate the medication anymore. Freddie was given 3 months to live, and I was devastated. I dedicated myself to doing everything I could to bring his health and happiness back.
The power of Nutrition
I studied alternative medicine and canine nutrition. I developed a treatment plan for Freddy that began with his food, that treated his kidneys, heart and other diseases with a natural diet, some herbs, spices and supplements. I added in daily routine modifications that helped to lift his mood and maintain this positivity.
I was cooking good food for Freddy and for myself and seeing incredible results in him. He was my happy boy again.
Since I have started sharing this knowledge with my patients. Many of my current elderly patients have become puppies again and many of my puppy patients are all set for a long healthy and happy life. My dream is to help as many animals and people as I can reach with this project, live their life with quality and meaning.
Help me, help beautiful souls.
